Artifact No66 - Gem Face (High gain!)
The Gem Face is a Germanium transistor fuzz based on the beautiful simplicity of the classic Fuzz Face circuit.
This gold version is tweaked for extra high gain. Inside is two new old stock germanium AC128 transistors.
Built with a mix of up cycled and NOS components in a Gørva design enclosure painted with black and shellac. Painted with a Hammer Tone gold finish and sealed with shellac. The tread is made of a composite material made from recycled leather and recycled plastic. The knob are two beautiful Les Paul type gold knobs.
This pedal is negative ground and require isolated power supply. Use standard boss 9v, or similar, (center negative) no battery option.
